2:00-3:00 Spotlight on Neil Gaiman One of Comic-Con's most popular guests returns to spend his weekend with you. Neil Gaiman talks about this busy year, including upcoming films Beowulf, Coraline, and Stardust (set to premiere Comic-Con weekend in L.A.), that little ditty called Death looming on the horizon, and tons of other great stuff he has in the works. 8:30-11:30 Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards The 19th annual Eisner Awards, the "Oscars" of the comics industry, will be given out by celebrity presenters, including Reno 911's Tom Lennon and Ben Garant, comedian Brian Posehn, cartoon voice actor Maurice LeMarche, British TV celebrity Jonathan Ross, and author Neil Gaiman. Other prestigious awards to be given out include the Russ Manning Promising Newcomer Award and the Bob Clampett Humanitarian Award. The master of ceremonies is Bongo Comics' Bill Morrison, who will be aided by the Go-Gos' Jane Wiedlen. Admission to the Eisners is free to all Comic- Con attendeesjust be sure to bring your badge. 7:00-9:00 CBLDF Benefit Auction This is the big one! The CBLDF holds its biggest auction of the year at Comic- Con, and this year brings some amazing one-of-a-kind items to raise money for free speech! Primo items include original art by Jim Lee, Jeff Smith, Terry Moore, Charlie Adlard, Norm Breyfogle, Rich Buckler, Brian Stelfreeze, and more! Plus a mind-blowing array of rare signed items, including signed portfolios and books by Frank Frazetta, Richard Corben, Hal Foster, Rebecca Guay, Neil Gaiman, Alan Moore, and many others! The Fund will also be auctioning off hot comics, including CGC 9.8 copies of Captain America #25, first printing and variants. Join auctioneer Chuck Rozanski and the CBLDF crew to support the Fund's current casework in Georgia, and help them shore up reserves to protect comics' First Amendment rights against any threat on the horizon. You will need a bidder number for this auction, which can be obtained, along with a full auction list, at the CBLDF booth #1831 or at the start of the event. Room 8.

10:30-11:45 Jack Kirby Tribute Lets face it: when it comes to comics, its Kirbys World and we just live in it. 2007 has seen a bumper crop of Kirby projects, including the first volume of DCs deluxe chronological reprinting of all the Fourth World stories, a major documentary about Jack on the Fantastic Four DVD, and Mark Evaniers upcoming art book Kirby, King of Comics.
