Award-winning TV host, food journalist and cookbook author Andreas Viestad returns for more culinary adventures in the third season of NEW SCANDINAVIAN COOKING. Shot on location in Andreas' native Norway, the series offers a rich visual tour of Nordic cuisine, culture and history.

In each episode, Andreas makes tantalizing dishes in stunning outdoor locations using locally sourced vegetables, grains, fish and wild game.

This season, Andreas also makes special trips to Scotland and Japan, where chefs use Norway's chief export — fish — in unexpected ways ways.

"Coastal Express" - Starting in the Sami territories of the Arctic, Andreas makes reindeer burgers with wild mushrooms, king crab cocktail and Arctic char with lamb-flavored potato gratin, all using produce he finds along the coast.
