More Wet Weather For San Diego

Another storm was expected to hit San Diego County later today, bringing with it gusty winds but not much rain, forecasters said.

The National Weather Service advised that an upper level low pressure system was approaching from the northwest.

"Light showers will linger into Thursday,'' according to the Weather Service, which also advised that strong gusty winds were likely, especially in the mountains and deserts.

The storm was expected to drop about a third to a half-inch of rain in most parts.

The snow level will lower to about 4,000-4,500 feet tonight, the Weather Service advised.

A similar storm with slightly higher snow levels was expected Thursday night through early Friday.
