Authorities in Karbala, Iraq, suspect that attackers targeting U.S. allies in the area might have infiltrated the region by traveling among thousands of Iranian pilgrims visiting Karbala's Shiite shrine. As of Sunday, 19 people have died from Saturday's attacks by suicide bombers and insurgents using mortars and grenades. NPR's Steve Inskeep talks to Chicago Tribune reporter Evan Osnos.
