The Pentagon released the names today of two Camp Pendleton-based Marines who were killed in combat last week in Afghanistan.
Staff Sgt. Jordan B. Emrick of Hoyleton, Ill., and Lance Cpl. Randy R. Braggs of Sierra Vista, Ariz., died in Helmand Province on Friday and Saturday, respectively, according to the Department of Defense.
Emrick, 26, was a member of the 1st Explosive Ordnance Disposal Company, 7th Engineer Support Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group, I Marine Expeditionary Force.
Braggs, 21, was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I MEF.
