Navy SEAL Jon Tumilson was one of 30 American servicemembers killed on August 6, 2011 when their Chinook helicopter was shot down by insurgents in Afghanistan. The photo of Tumilson's dog, Hawkeye, lying next to his master's coffin captured the hearts of the countless people who saw it.
