San Diego-Based National Guard Members Rescue Car Crash Victims (Video)

Members of the San Diego-based 79th Brigade Special Troops Brigade were on a Sunday motorcycle ride when they came across a car accident. First on the scene, the citizen soldiers quickly put their military training to use to help the injured motorists.

California National Guard members Staff Sgt. Bruce Sullivan, Staff Sgt. Sarah Letbetter, Staff Sgt. Thomas Ciezki, Sgt. Oscar Ramirez, Sgt. Nichole Rauscher, and Spc. Damon Houser all took part in the rescue, according to the California National Guard's Facebook page:

They pulled the victims out of their cars, treated for shock, directed traffic, and called the paramedics using cell phones and victim’s ONSTAR.

One of the Guard Member's helmet cameras captured the whole thing on video. Posted up top!
