Edwards, Obama Turn Attacks Toward Each Other

For months now in Iowa and New Hampshire, Democratic presidential hopefuls Barack Obama and John Edwards have kept up a barrage of attacks on national Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton. But in Iowa last week, the Edwards and Obama campaigns escalated their rhetoric against each other, as each hopes to capitalize on a caucus system where being the second choice of any given participant can make a big difference.

Obama might have as much cause to worry about former Sen. Edwards as about Sen. Clinton.

The North Carolinian has a strong network, especially in rural Iowa, and has been through the caucus test before.
