JiAel Brownell

JiAel Brownell is a teacher at the East Mesa Juvenile Detention Facility. He also served in the U.S. Army as a translator in Korea and, with his background in linguistics and an appreciation for his country, he taught citizenship to recent emigrants. Brownell moved to Juvenile Hall to defend young people and help them succeed with the lessons he learned from his background in education, sports and fitness. He works within the Juvenile Hall system to encourage youth to understand their choices and provide them with the information they need to be successful in the world.
