Chef Adrian Villarreal, a culinary artist with diverse training from chefs like Guillermo Gonzalez Beristain and Rene Redzepi, leads the culinary team at Tahona Bar in San Diego, curating unforgettable dining experiences and contributing to Food Link Catering's exclusive events globally; known for his positive impact, he previously engaged in non-profit work with Volunteers of America, showcasing his commitment to using food for social good. Marina Ferreira, co-creator of Rose Water Cocktail Company and General Manager and Partner at Botanica Art and Cocktails in North Park, innovatively curates a diverse, sustainable cocktail menu, reintroducing historical spirits and empowering women in the industry, transforming Botanica into a sought-after destination. About The Blank Table| This multi-sensory evening features a five-course pre-fixe menu with pairings from some of San Diego’s top mixologists and the region’s winemakers. TBT is designed as a secret dinner series, with most of the details- including location and menu- revealed the evening before the event via email with a link to an obscure, unknown and off-the-beaten-path location. Committed to reinvesting in the local community and native creatives, menus feature sustainable, seasonal and complex flavors while utilizing a broad range of spirits explicitly crafted for each dish. Co-founded by Alexandria Ott, The Blank Table is produced by Chrome City Creative Studio in partnership with Be Saha Hospitality Group.

Encanto, San Diego's vibrant Black Arts & Culture District, is set to come alive on Saturday, February 18 from Noon to 4:45 p.m. with the inaugural Daygo Eatz event. Organized by The Mental Bar, Black San Diego, and Pillars of the Community, Daygo Eatz promises to be a dynamic celebration of community, resilience, and local talent. Daygo Eatz will transform nine blocks, spanning one mile of Encanto's streets and spill into the adjacent Marie Widman Memorial Park. The event aims to revitalize the spirit of the community and honor its rich cultural heritage while providing a platform for local businesses and artists to showcase their products and talents. The event will feature a dynamic mix of activities including a street fair with pop ups from local vendors, an art walk, and live entertainment. Attendees can expect to experience the vibrancy of Encanto through displays from local artists, spoken word performances, and engaging discussions on health and wellness.

  • Learn the fundamentals of ceramics and cooking! Campers mix, chop, sauté, bake and enjoy their food creations AND learn how to make functional ceramics on the wheel! Campers will learn knife skills in a small hands on environment while they cook and bake their creations and gain confidence in the kitchen. After a lunch break in the garden, children will be brought to our ceramics room where they will learn fundamental ceramic techniques. Their pieces will be fired and available for pickup the following week. Class meets Tuesday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. at our Encinitas location.
