  • San Diego New Music presents a unique program curated by Zane Alexander and generously underwritten by Julia S. Falk, Ph.D. at the Athenaeum Art Center. The Holy Ghost is an improvisation directed by Zane Alexander and interpreted by an ensemble of fourteen outstanding musicians from San Diego. The diverse cast of musicians of all ages and musical backgrounds will come together and be given the tools to make something beautiful and unpredictable. Simplicity, trust, and choices are what The Holy Ghost is invested in. Soprano sax soloist Ryan Ebaugh and curator Zane Alexander will guide the band through this multimovement structured improvisation, spotlighting the unique voices of San Diego's instrumentalists.
