  • Access Youth Academy will celebrate 20 years of transforming the lives of San Diego youth at its 20th Anniversary Gala on Saturday, September 19, at the Gaylord Pacific Resort & Convention Center in Chula Vista. The milestone evening will bring together supporters, community leaders, alumni, students, and friends of Access Youth Academy to celebrate two decades of impact while raising critical funds to support the organization's mission. Guests will enjoy a cocktail reception, silent and live auctions, dinner, inspiring student and alumni stories, and a Fund-a-Need program highlighting the life-changing work of Access Youth Academy. Since 2006, Access has empowered underserved students through its long-term commitment to academic support, mentorship, leadership development, college and career readiness, and athletic programming. Today, the organization proudly celebrates a 100% high school graduation rate, a 100% college acceptance rate, and more than $18 million in scholarships earned by its students. Proceeds from the Gala will support Access Youth Academy's comprehensive programs, ensuring more young people have the resources, opportunities, and support they need to succeed from middle school through college and into their careers.
