  • On Saturday, November 11, Barrio Star is hosting a Dog Adoption Event, from 11a.m. - 3 p.m. The vibrant, modern Mexican Soul Food eatery is partnering with PAWS4Thought Animal Rescue to help some furry friends find their new, forever homes. The all-breed animal rescue organization focuses on pulling dogs from shelters when they are at risk of being euthanized, as well as abandoned, abused, and stray dogs in both the U.S. and Tijuana/Rosarito areas. PAWS4Thought’s primary goal is to rescue and rehabilitate these dogs in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their permanent “fur-ever” homes. Stop by family-friendly Barrio Star for Saturday brunch or lunch, and enjoy fresh Mexican food, woven with bold Latin flavors and clever Asian touches. From their popular Brunch Tacos to red or green Chilaquiles, taco plates to the Barrio Bowl, Barrio Star offers something for all tastebuds!
