  • Instructor Melissa Ordway will teach the basics of throwing pottery on the wheel. Wheel throwing is a fun process that allows you to make mugs, cups, bowls, and lots of utilitarian objects. Whether you are new to throwing on the wheel or have some experience, you’ll enjoy this class. 5 weeks gives you even more time to practice centering the clay and raising those walls! This class will use mid-fire clay, so after being fired, your work will last for years and years. We will focus on wedging, centering, throwing, trimming and glazing.
