Enjoy over 150 wines and bubblies from across the globe plus some "outside the bottle beverages," a DJ, photo booth , favorite local food trucks and more! There are two ticket options for this event. Early Admission ($80) is at 1 p.m. and includes an extra hour of tasting with a smaller group, plus some bonus wine selections from certain wineries.   • Our organization is California Labrador Retriever and More; this yearly event is to help raise the needed funds to continue to rescue dogs that need us especially with the start of winter. The run/walk will start and finish at Roadrunner Sports on 5553 Copley Drive and everyone is welcome. You can be in costume (not a requirement), families, friends and your 4-legged friends can attend as well. We'll have tickets to purchase for baskets and other items. Beer garden to enjoy after the run, costume contest with prizes, and we are having an adoption event. Then, California’s eviction moratorium program ends Thursday, but tenants may qualify for a city of San Diego eviction moratorium starting Friday.   • The unemployment rate in San Diego County decreased to 5.3% in October, down from a revised 5.6% in September.
  • On Saturday, June 10th, from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., the City of San Diego is inviting the public to provide input about what features they would like to see included in an ideal Ocean Beach Pier. The City is encouraging residents from throughout the region to attend and to bring their kids. Free ice cream, donated by Lighthouse Ice Cream, will be available, while supplies last. Fishing poles will be given to the first 20 kids and there will be 10 adult poles to be raffled off! Before the interactive portion of the workshop, City staff and consultants will provide a summary of findings to date, and present draft guiding principles for the project. The engineering and design team will also present information about design opportunities and constraints related to the construction of a potential replacement pier in the location of the existing Ocean Beach Pier, as well as the next steps in the design process. This is the 2nd in-person Community Workshop for the Ocean Beach Pier Renewal Project. The workshop on June 10 will be held at the Liberty Station Conference Center, 2600 Laning Road.
