  • In today’s art world, a strong online presence is just as important as the work itself. This workshop helps artists identify their actual and ideal audience and understand who they are really speaking to—collectors, curators, or community. From there, participants will explore how to define a clear brand voice, using archetypes to guide how they present themselves authentically. We’ll break down the major social media channels, showing how to choose the right platforms for your goals, and share practical strategies for creating posts, reels, and videos that truly connect. Artists will leave with the tools to confidently market their work online and build relationships that last. A limited number of scholarships are available for artists who wish to attend but cannot support the fees at this time, contact katie@oma-online.org to inquire. • Spring into Action: Support Canyon Crest Academy's Red Cross Club First Ever Blood Drive This spring, the students of Canyon Crest Academy’s Red Cross Club have been volunteering in the area, and they need your help! On Monday, April 27, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 334 14th St Del Mar, Calif. 92014, the club will host its first-ever blood drive, bringing their energy, creativity, and big hearts to support patients in need. This group of 50 club members have already made a remarkable impact this year: collecting over 400+ toiletry donations with Torrey Pines Red Cross, raising more than $450 for National Red Cross funding, and creating hundreds of handmade cards for local veterans. Now, they’re taking their contributions one step further, organizing a blood drive to help ensure trauma victims, surgery patients, and those battling cancer or sickle cell disease have lifesaving blood available. Why Your Donation Matters: Every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood. By donating, you’ll help save lives, and encourage these hardworking students in their mission to give back. Each donation is able to save up to 3 lives, and around 40 donors are required to raise an ample amount of blood. How to Participate: Register online at https://www.redcrossblood.org/give.html/drive-results?zipSponsor=stpetersdelmar to donate! Complete a RapidPass® online health history questionnaire to save time at check-in Bring a blood donor card, driver’s license, or two other forms of ID Individuals who are 17 years of age in most states (16 with parental consent where allowed by state law), weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood. High school students and other donors 18 years of age and younger also have to meet certain height and weight requirements. Benefits for Donors: $15 E-Gift Card of your choosing Snacks and a spring-themed surprise treat These students have spent the season planning every detail of this drive, hoping to inspire their community and give the gift of life. Roll up your sleeves, celebrate the season of renewal, and join Canyon Crest Academy’s Red Cross Club this April 27 at St. Peter's Church Del Mar to make a difference this Spring.
