Spring into Action: Support Canyon Crest Academy's Red Cross Club First Ever Blood Drive This spring, the students of Canyon Crest Academy’s Red Cross Club have been volunteering in the area, and they need your help! On Monday, April 27, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 334 14th St Del Mar, Calif. 92014, the club will host its first-ever blood drive, bringing their energy, creativity, and big hearts to support patients in need. This group of 50 club members have already made a remarkable impact this year: collecting over 400+ toiletry donations with Torrey Pines Red Cross, raising more than $450 for National Red Cross funding, and creating hundreds of handmade cards for local veterans. Now, they’re taking their contributions one step further, organizing a blood drive to help ensure trauma victims, surgery patients, and those battling cancer or sickle cell disease have lifesaving blood available.
