Artists Ty Bennett and Katie Flores explore the miraculous power of painting, expressing their passions through imagery and text. Ty is an outsider surrealist artist who paints abstract and figurative works influenced by literature, movies, philosophy, psychology, religion, art history, and modern technology. Katie is a prolific painter with an exceptional eye for balancing colors. This is evident in her collection of junk food and color field paintings. Honoring Our Loved Ones Who Have Passed Community members are invited to join First United Methodist Church of San Diego for an evening of remembrance and song on Saturday, November 1 in their Mission Valley Sanctuary, located at 2111 Camino del Rio South. An extended organ prelude starts at 6 p.m. and the Evensong begins at 6:15 p.m. First Church’s Chamber Choir will lead this beautiful service celebrating All Saints' Day.
