We're thrilled to announce this special concert, pairing classic composer J.S. Bach with modern composer Joanna Forbes L’Estrange! Sung by the First UMC of San Diego Chancel Choir and Masterwork Chorale, the concert features Bach’s "Wachet ruft uns die Stimme" (Sleepers wake) and the world premier of L’Estrange’s "San Diego Service Magnificant." Performed in First Church’s breathtaking Sanctuary in Mission Valley and accompanied by the largest pipe organ in San Diego County, the Advent Choral Concert is an annual favorite of many. The concert is intended for all ages and free childcare will be provided.
