  • St. Paul’s will host a drop-off donation drive to support S.P.E.N.D. (St. Paul’s Essential Needs Drive) on Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the St. Paul’s Conference Center, 2557 Third Ave, San Diego, CA 92103. The community is asked to bring new, unopened essential items, including toothbrushes/toothpaste, blankets, and socks, to directly support vulnerable older adults served by St. Paul’s PACE across San Diego County. St. Paul’s S.P.E.N.D. shines a light on the growing gap between a seniors’ fixed income and the rising cost of living, and channels community support into the most-needed everyday items. Thousands of older adults in San Diego County live below the actual cost of living and struggle to cover basics like housing, food, and medications. Many do not meet federal poverty thresholds and go without essential living items. Donations through S.P.E.N.D. help close that gap for the seniors in St. Paul’s care this winter. Those interested in supporting this year’s event can donate at www.stpaulseniors.org/donate and select “S.P.E.N.D.” from the dropdown menu, or use donorbox.org/spend-2025 to contribute directly to this year’s drive. • Step into the spirit of the holidays as the TERI Players bring Charles Dickens’ "A Christmas Carol" to life in a moving, joy-filled production for all ages. Ebenezer Scrooge (Aiden Bolt) is a wealthy but bitter man who despises Christmas and cares only for money. He mistreats his kind-hearted clerk, Bob Cratchit (Cameron Morning), ignores his cheerful nephew (Jesse Rivas), and turns away charity solicitors (Tim Sangster and Kristiana Scarpace). But on Christmas Eve, a chilling visit from his late business partner, Jacob Marley (Nolan Levinson), sets Scrooge on a journey through time with three mysterious spirits—the Ghost of Christmas Past (Moorea Howson), the Ghost of Christmas Present (Stevie Evoy), and the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come (CJ Rodriguez). Through their lessons, Scrooge witnesses the cost of his cold heart and the hope of redemption before it’s too late. Experience this classic tale of generosity, family, and holiday spirit—beautifully performed by the TERI Players! The TERI Players are a dynamic ensemble of individuals from our Center for the Arts Day Program for adults on the TERI Campus of Life who shine on stage with the support of our TERI Theatre & Performing Arts Pro Team. • Every Halloween, the shows that we fear the most suddenly return. The infamous NCT Halloween SPOOKTACULAR raises its ugly head again on Friday and Saturday, October 31 and November 1 at 7:30 p.m. The performance features macabre send ups of our regular sketches, and features scenes and games that we haven’t practiced, and yet still charge full price. That’s how scary the show is… In addition, we have a new show debuting this year, just in time for Halloween. Thursday, October 30 will feature an improvised horror anthology. It’s an improvised series of scenes, all within a different horror genre. It’s a hilariously spooky way to spend an evening. Come join our cast as we delve into absurdity and horror.
