The San Diego Watercolor Society proudly presents the 10th Annual “Out N About Plein Air Show," juried by award-winning artist, Ken Goldman. The water-based media exhibition runs July 1 – Aug 1, 2026 at our Gallery in The ARTS DISTRICT Liberty Station. The free Opening Reception is Sunday, July 5, 1-3 p.m. with over 50 ready-to-hang original paintings plus refreshments and the fellowship of other art enthusiasts. This behavior is filling our landfills at an alarming rate, and electronic waste is now one of the biggest sources of pollution. So why not learn how to fix things instead?! Bring your broken, non-working items—electronics, appliances, computers, toys, bicycles, clothes, and more—for assessment, disassembly, and possible repair. We'll provide a workspace, specialty tools, and guidance to help you disassemble and troubleshoot your item. Even if we can't fix it, you'll learn more about how it was made and how it works. Know a Veteran? Nominate a Veteran for the 2026 LGBT Veterans Wall of Honor Induction Ceremony will be held in November at The San Diego LGBT Community Center. The Benjamin F. Dillingham, III and Bridget Wilson LGBT Veterans Wall of Honor recognizes LGBTQ+ veterans with ties to San Diego who served under anti-LGBTQ policies, preventing their ability to serve, and serve safety and openly, as well as those who have served after the ending of those policies. These veterans have taken the oath to serve our country and have done so honorably, and with distinction, acting as role models in advancing equality. The LGBT Veterans Wall commemorates these veterans’ lives in hopes that their courage, bravery and sacrifices will continue to inspire future generations. We invite you to nominate an LGBTQ+ veteran you know whose story deserves to be uplifted. Nominees are eligible regardless of rank earned, branch of service or component  (Active, Reserve, or National Guard). Nominees may be living or deceased. The inaugural California Coast Festival presents "Milestones: A Miles Davis Centennial Celebration." A three-day jazz festival taking place in San Diego from August 21–23, 2026, at the Wyndham Bayside Hotel. It features 16 concerts covering Miles Davis's entire musical legacy, along with rare films, panels, and presentations.
