What happens when five artists bring their worlds into one house? Join us at Dear Tomorrow for an evening with the San Diego Artist Incubator, a City of San Diego initiative supporting artists as they develop their practices and share their work with the public. As the official partner venue for the program, we're opening the house to five artists working across painting, dance, sound, performance, and installation. Each artist will activate the space in their own way, bringing new energy to the rooms and inviting us to experience art beyond the traditional gallery setting. Explore the color expressionist paintings of Cathy Carey, the figurative painting and mixed media installations of Alexandra Carter, and the sound, media, and salvaged electronics of Joe Cantrell. Experience the movement and ensemble work of Miguel Galvan, alongside Miki Vale blend of hip hop, theatre, sound, performance, and writing. Together, their practices will transform Dear Tomorrow into a meeting place for different ways of making, moving, listening, and seeing. Come wander the house, encounter something unexpected, and spend an evening with the artists shaping San Diego's creative landscape.
