These amendments expand eligibility for Wholesale Limited, Boutique, and Small Winery tiers within RR zones, expand allowable tasting and retail sales areas, and revise standards for outdoor amplified music at Boutique Wineries. The amendments also incorporate clarifications and operational refinements that support small agricultural operators and strengthen compatibility with rural communities. This update to the Tiered Winery Zoning Ordinance (Section 6910) was in response to direction from the Board of Supervisors on February 28, 2024 with additional direction given on February 11, 2026.
