  • Come see Jesse Ray Smith, Cassie B and Twilight Highway perform Thursday, Sept. 10 7:30 p.m. (Doors: 7 p.m.) Box Office: 858-481-8140 Boxoffice@bellyup.com | FAQ Jesse grew up blue-collar in Northern California, the son of parents who owned a family appliance business, and his sound carries that same lived-in, road-worn quality, shaped as much by California surf and coastal sailing as by the Americana tradition he's building on. He's actively establishing roots in Nashville, working alongside longtime promoter and partner Fred Gage, and collaborating with Slim Gambill, longtime lead guitarist for Lady A, a partnership that speaks to how naturally his sound bridges the West Coast and Nashville scenes.
