Join us for the 2026 Tolley Dances™ on the MTS Blue Line Trolley! This iconic event has been bringing San Diego together for 28 years through site-specific dance that highlights our city's diversity, culture, and community. Choreographers include Erica Buechner, Jessica Rabanzo-Flores, Spencer John Powell, SDDT's Artistic Director Terry Wilson and the Founder of Trolley Dances™ Jean Isaacs. Parking: Parking available at UTC Mall in the designated Transit Center parking structure. Ticketing: Ticketing table can be located at the top of the UTC Mall parking Structure next to the Trolley. *Kids age 8 and under may ride and join the tour for free with a paying adult. Special Thanks to our Major Transportation Partner MTS and our collaborators for this event such as UC San Diego and the Westfield UTC Mall. Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of your tour. Tour times are based on the trolley schedule and will be followed down to the minute by our tour guides. We cannot offer refunds for missed tours, so make sure you give yourself ample time to locate the start location and prepare for your tour! Important Note: Purchased trolley tickets cannot be exchanged nor refunded. Trolley tickets will act as a valid day pass for MTS and are valid as soon as the event begins. To prepare for your tour, make sure you are wearing comfortable walking shoes. Sunscreen, water, and a hat or other protection from the heat is highly recommended! Trolley Dances™ is a site-specific tour where guests will be led by tour guides to curated dances. Guests should be prepared to do a decent amount of walking. Tours time are as follows: Tour 1 - 10 a.m. / Tour 2 - 11 a.m. / Tour 3 - 12 p.m. / Tour 4 - 1 p.m. / Tour 5 - 2 p.m. / Tour 6 - 3 p.m. Tours will begin and end at the UTC Transit Center. Pacific Soul Jazz Festival inaugural Labor Day Weekend, Saturday, September 5 and Sunday, September 6, 2026, at the UC San Diego Epstein Family Amphitheater, brings two full days of live music, culture, and community celebration to the San Diego coastline. Doors open daily at 12 p.m. and programming runs through 8 p.m. This year's lineup is headlined by Grammy winning pianist and producer Robert Glasper on Saturday, and celebrated R&B Grammy winning vocalist Kenny Lattimore on Sunday. Each day features a full roster of supporting artists spanning jazz, soul, and contemporary R&B. Join us at the Brooks theater to meet Hill Street’s founders, Marge and Dinah, and learn more about our building plans from architect partners Object Projects. Teaching Artist Lissa Corona will be on hand to lead participants in an art activity focused on local perspectives of Oceanside. Supplies will be provided and are yours to keep after the event. We’re excited to share what we’ve learned in our feasibility study and collaborate with you as we design our next steps. We are pleased to announce the dates for the 27th Athenaeum Summer Festival, a series of four concerts that will feature virtuoso pianist Gustavo Romero. Continuing a beloved tradition, this summer Gustavo Romero will celebrate what he notes as Romantic Fire and the Spanish Soul, through a focus on the piano music of Hungarian Franz Liszt, and will be combined with works by Spanish composers Albeniz, Granados, and Manuel De Falla. Our art group's motive is to reflect on the question "Who are you" amidst a rapidly changing world and to express our thoughts through our art. We are hosting our first exhibition at La Jolla Beach. For this nature-based exhibition, we expanded the same question, "who are you" to deeply contemplate our coexistence with the natural environment we inhabit. We asked, "What is your WAY with nature? This first exhibition will take place on September 19, from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. at the beautiful La Jolla Beach in San Diego.
