She spent two decades designing and leading campaigns to reform the U.S. criminal justice system. Justin Brooks is Professor at the University of San Diego School of Law, co-founder of the California Innocence Project, and the author of "You Might Go to Prison Even Though You’re Innocent". Over more than thirty-five years as a criminal defense attorney, he has helped secure the release of forty wrongfully convicted people. Eddie Lowery, one of the exonerees portrayed in "Breaking Point," spent nine years in prison before being paroled and ultimately clearing his name.
