Hosted by Scripps Cancer Center, this virtual event is for newly diagnosed patients, as well as those going through or having completed breast cancer treatment. It provides a safe space to find emotional support, understanding, new coping skills and encouragement. Group members share experiences, knowledge, hopes, fears and strengths in a relaxed and confidential setting. The session is available through Microsoft Teams and phone and is one of several events Scripps is offering in June to mark national cancer survivors day.
