  • Convivio, a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening community through the celebration of Italian culture and intercultural experiences, invites the community for an evening of music, dancing, and nostalgia at Rock & Roll Revival, a 1950’s themed fundraiser on Sunday, July 26, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at AmiciBar (250 W. Date St., San Diego, CA 92101) in Little Italy. Guests ages 18 and older are invited to enjoy an evening featuring classic 1950s-inspired food, cocktails, soda pop, sweet treats, and old-fashioned root beer floats. Attendees can dance the night away as a live disc jockey spins the iconic hits of the era. Attendees are encouraged to embrace the spirit of the decade by dressing in their favorite 1950s attire, including poodle skirts, leather jackets, rolled-up jeans, loafers, and other retro-inspired fashions. Proceeds from the event will support Convivio's efforts to bring people together through cultural programming, educational opportunities, and community events that celebrate and preserve Italian heritage.
