  • From the suffrage sashes and banners of the early 1900s to the pink knitted pussy hats of the modern Women’s March movement, textiles have played an important role as a messenger for women’s activism. "Textiles" connect women throughout time. They are skills passed down from generation to generation, from mother to daughter, within the privacy of the home.
