August 18, 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. During this highly interactive workshop, students will be encouraged to explore their artistic abilities as well as embrace one another’s creativity through positive interaction while handcrafting their very own batch of melt & pour soap. Areas of focus include soapmaking safety, recipe formulation, crafting with fragrances, colorants and embeds, molding, curing, labeling, packaging and gift design. Upon completion of this workshop, students will walk away with a basic understanding of how to craft their own batch of melt & pour soap at home. Best of all, each student will leave this workshop with plenty of soap for personal use or gifts to loved ones. No experience necessary.
