  • Gilbert Castellanos and a lineup of stellar jazz musicians will play Billie Holiday’s "All or Nothing at All," paying homage to “Lady Day’s” sound. Released in 1958, "All of Nothing at All" is made up of 12 songs previously recorded in 1956 and 1957.   • We are pleased to announce the dates for the 27th Athenaeum Summer Festival, a series of four concerts that will feature virtuoso pianist Gustavo Romero. Continuing a beloved tradition, this summer Gustavo Romero will celebrate what he notes as Romantic Fire and the Spanish Soul, through a focus on the piano music of Hungarian Franz Liszt, and will be combined with works by Spanish composers Albeniz, Granados, and Manuel De Falla.   • Bring your dog—or come without one—and help Labs and More give rescued dogs a second chance at the 13th Annual Howl-O-Ween Mutt Run/Walk on Saturday, October 24! The family-friendly morning features a 5K run/walk, a sponsored beer garden and plenty of Halloween fun. People and pups are encouraged to come in costume and join the costume parade and contest. A Labs and More adoption event will also feature dogs looking for forever homes, with same-day adoptions available. Since 2011, volunteer-led Labs and More has rescued more than 17,000 dogs. The organization rescues approximately 900 dogs each year, and veterinary and medical care is its largest expense. Proceeds from the Mutt Run help provide lifesaving care for dogs in need.   • Forty San Diego Potters Guild juried members fill the Spanish Village Art Center patio with thousands of handcrafted pots, unique and distinctive, choosing the clay, form, shape, design, surface, decoration, glaze and firing technique. There'll be colorful bowls, wonderful plates and serving platters with graphic designs, hundreds of beautiful mugs, carved and decorated vases and bottles, fabulous teapots, unusual planters and complex sculptures.
