Bicycle Film Festival is coming back to San Diego at the Museum of Photographic Arts at The San Diego Museum of Art with three curated screenings of short films that celebrate the bicycle on July 25, 2026. Hosted by SD Bike Coalition and Bike SD. BFF San Diego presents international short film programs that appeal to film connoisseurs, avid cyclists, and everyone in between. Curated documentaries, narratives, animations, award-winning directors, and emerging talents all share equal billing. 3 p.m. CINEMATIC SHORTS A story driven program with diverse, cinematic filmmaking styles: documentaries, narrative, animation, and more. 5 p.m. ADVENTURE SHORTS For lovers of mountain biking, gravel, bike packing, and cycling in general. Come together in support of addiction recovery at this year’s McAlister Institute Annual 5K Walk for Sobriety on Saturday, September 5, 2026 from 8 to 11 a.m. Taking place at the Naval Training Center Park at Liberty Station, the proceeds from Walk for Sobriety will go directly to those in recovery at the McAlister Institute, a nonprofit providing care for prevention and addiction treatment. This purposeful event was made to unite survivors of addiction and community members to bring awareness to a battle that was never meant to be fought alone. The morning will include several events for participants of all ages to enjoy from a kids’ zone with arts and crafts, a silent auction, raffle prizes, and games.
