  • A 60-minute restorative yoga and journaling experience designed specifically for writers. Through gentle, supported poses and seven journal prompts. One for each chakra. You'll be invited to slow down, drop in, and let your writing flow from a deeper place. This class isn't about perfect prose; it's about connecting deeper with your unique writing style. We'll move through a grounding warm-up, then alternate between restorative poses and journaling, giving your body space to soften while your words rise to the surface. Come ready to restore, reflect, and write from the soul.

  • Create your own no-sew fabric mosaic! Saturday, October 3, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. Beginners welcome! Ages 14+years! Discover the Japanese art of Kinusaiga, a beautiful fabric technique that transforms colorful scraps of cloth into a stunning work of art—all without a needle or thread. In this 3‑hour, beginner‑friendly workshop, you’ll explore color and texture as you design your own decorative fabric mosaic. You’ll be guided step‑by‑step through sketching your picture and then using a simple method of tucking fabric into grooves to bring your design to life, one vibrant piece at a time. Kinusaiga is wonderfully relaxing and surprisingly addictive—a chance to slow down, get creative, and enjoy the deeply satisfying process of making something by hand. All materials are provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own fabric scraps (even tiny ones)—including cherished pieces of clothing or meaningful textiles you’d like to repurpose into your artwork. Each student will create an 8×8” project to take home. No experience necessary. Ages 14+ welcome.   • Handcraft your own natural massage bar! Saturday, October 3, 10-11:15 a.m. Beginners welcome! Ages 15+years! Join us for a special workshop with Guest Artisan & Instructor Chelsea Lööw, visiting from Sweden and introducing a limited series of workshops with Craft Collective this year! Massage oil bars are made to melt right onto the skin, a blend of decadence and everyday body care. Made with organic beeswax, moisturizing butters, nourishing oils, and beautiful fragrances, these buttery bars leave your skin wonderfully scented and glowy. In this class, you will learn about the benefits and properties of different ingredients and then choose a custom combination to make your own massage bars with simple packaging for storage. It goes without saying that these massage bars make excellent gifts! A note about ingredients and sensitivities: This workshop introduces a range of plant-based oils and butters, including sweet almond, apricot kernel, coconut, castor, jojoba, avocado, marula, and moringa oils as well as butters from shea and cupuaçu. Because individual allergies and sensitivities vary, please let us know about any known seed, nut, or botanical allergies when you register.   • Create a unique Bandsaw Box! Choose from: September 19 or December 6, from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Bandsaw boxes are beginner-friendly and have a variety of uses. Once you make one you can make many! In this 7-hour workshop, students will create a box made from a single block of wood using the bandsaw. Students will learn to design and create organic forms on the bandsaw while observing wood grain and learning to make cross cuts and rip cuts. We will cover shop safety and methods for cutting and gluing your box. Students will also learn sanding best practices and how to achieve a perfect finish using beeswax. We welcome all makers, from beginners to advanced. Materials are provided. We recommend students bring your own eye protection, ear protection & apron. Aprons for sale here. No experience necessary. Ages 18+ welcome.
