Kids explore ceramics and woodworking! Mon through Fri | July 28 – Aug 1 | 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. Ages 7-12 years welcome! This week of Summer Camp is all about ceramics & woodworking for kids! Kids learn woodworking hand tool techniques from woodworking professional, Steffanie Dotson. A mom, woodworker, furniture maker, and Executive Director at San Diego Craft Collective, she teaches woodworking to both children and adults year-round. With a focus on safety, Steffanie creatively mentors children and fosters confidence through woodworking. Kids will also explore ceramics with visual artist-educator, Lydia Kardos. Each camper will learn and practice ceramic hand building techniques to make fun, long-lasting projects in this traditional medium full of creative flexibility. This camp is for kids, ages 7-12 years. Projects and depth of learning are matched up to the children’s age/ability.
