For 25 years, the Center for Marine Biodiversity and Conservation (CMBC) has championed a holistic, interdisciplinary approach that brings together the natural and social sciences to educate future leaders and advance research in marine biodiversity and conservation. As CMBC celebrates two-and-a-half decades of unique contributions to a healthy and thriving ocean planet, its ongoing work has never been more critical. Join current CMBC Director Professor Stuart Sandin as he shares his vision for the Center’s future and how interdisciplinary collaboration helps shape innovative solutions that conserve marine ecosystems and the life they support. Seating is limited and lectures often sell out, so advanced registration is strongly recommended. The Del Mar Taco & Beer Festival is overflowing with food, fun, and brews.
