We are excited to host the first annual *Paepo'o Classic* surf competition, featuring eco-friendly, all-wood bodyboards and surfboards. Our goal is to raise awareness about the impact of cheap foam bodyboards that break and pollute our beaches, posing a significant threat to wildlife and marine ecosystems here in San Diego. We will provide over 20 traditional Hawaiian-style Paepo'o bodyboards for contestants, thousands of dollars in prize money, and the prestigious title of *Earth Fan Paepo'o Classic Champion* for both Men's and Women's categories.
