  • In August 2019, the four members of River Whyless - Halli Anderson, Ryan O’Keefe, Daniel Shearin and Alex McWalters - secluded themselves for thirty days deep in the hills outside Asheville, NC. Their intention was to make a record, the band’s fourth full-length effort, and first without a producer since their 2012 debut "A Stone", "A Leaf", "An Unfound Door". Back then, that constraint was a matter of necessity. This time, it was deliberate. River Whyless has graced the stages of beloved festivals such as Newport Folk Festival, Bonnaroo, and Hardly Strictly Bluegrass. They have also received critical acclaim from NPR Music, American Songwriter, and Stereogum, among many others. SOCIALS: Facebook Twitter Instagram
  • Third Eye Blind with Special Guest, Hockey Dad, at Cal Coast Open Air Theatre on Thursday, August 11 at 7 p.m. Having emerged from the late-90s post-grunge scene, Third Eye Blind is known for their brighter take on grunge sounds, often borrowing themes from classic rock and pop chords. The band, which debuted their single 'Semi-Charmed Life' in 1997 to critical acclaim, quickly rose to fame and eventually went on to win the 1997 Billboard Music Award for Best Modern Rock Track. Building on their impactful initial success, Third Eye Blind released a number of singles following 1997's 'Semi-Charmed Life,' three of which reached the Top 10 charts. They also toured with bands such as U2 and Oasis before their Bonfire Tour across the US in 1998 and releasing their second album, Blue, in 1999. In more recent years, the band has toured and performed at festivals such as Bonnaroo in Tennessee, Life is Beautiful in Las Vegas, Reading Festival in the United Kingdom, and In the Mix in the Philippines. Third Eye Blind live performances are noted as impressive for their meticulous use of lighting to set the mood for each individual song and for their high-energy interaction with audiences. Their Blessed by the Gods tour in 2017 received positive reviews for an impressive setlist that perfectly mixed songs from each era of their career. Click here to learn more about this concert!

  • Born in the south of France, Patrick Berrogain’s foray into the music world began at the age of 13 when he bought his first guitar. It was not long before he began playing bass and guitar semi-professionally while finishing high school. At 19 he landed a touring gig with an Italian pop band, Delta Landa with whom he traveled the world. A few years later Patrick decided to follow his dream to study jazz in America.. In 2007, Patrick created his latest Gypsy jazz group the ”Hot Club Combo” playing music ranging from Michel Legrand and Edith Piaf to contemporary artists, all filtered through the lens of Gypsy jazz. Gypsy jazz (also known as Gypsy Swing or Hot Club Jazz) is a style of jazz music often said to have been created by guitarist Jean Baptiste "Django" Reinhardt in the 1930s. Because its origins are in France it is often called by the French name, Jazz Manouche or alternatively, Manouche Jazz, even in English language sources. The term is now commonly used for this style of music. Django was foremost among a group of Romani guitarists working in and around Paris in the 1930s through the 1950s, a group which also included the brothers Baro, Sarane, and Matelo Ferret and Reinhardt's brother Joseph "Nin-Nin" Reinhardt.

Tay Strathairn throws in elegiac keyboard flourishes, while bassist Wylie Gerber drops in smooth melodies on the low end.
