  • 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. North Park Way (29th St. to Ray St.) Free Admission | All Ages | Dog Friendly Verbatim Books and the North Park Community Fair are taking over North Park Way for a full day of creating and getting your hands a little messy. Crafted by Hand is a hands-on community craft event where every booth, ran by local creatives and teachers, is an opportunity to sit down, make something, and take it home with you. This is not a market. Instead, you can move through the street at your own pace as you pick the activities that speak to you, paying as you go. No experience with a certain craft? No worries! There will be booths for different skill levels and ages. We will also have a craft supply swap booth on site and free community activities rotating throughout the day. For information on more events from the North Park Community Fair or Verbatim Books, visit Verbatim's website: https://verbatimbooks.com/events/ Are You a Local Maker or Craft Teacher? We are looking for local makers, teachers, and creative businesses to lead hands-on activities at Crafted by Hand. If you can teach it and people can make it in under an hour, we want to hear from you. Applications close on Thursday, August 20. Apply here: https://forms.gle/iExG48i6njaCUnk79 Questions?
