  • This one-night-only event, “A Spectrum of… Place,” will feature the winning selections from Getty's statewide teen photography exhibition, “Getty Unshuttered Open Call” alongside select and winning works from OTL’s San Diego-based “Voice Out: A Youth Media Arts Exhibition.” Based on the theme, “A Spectrum of…” Getty received more than 2,800 submissions from teenagers residing in 134 cities throughout California, all of which underwent a thorough review and consideration process. Twenty-five winning photographers were selected by a panel of judges, and include two works from San Diego teens.   • American Improv Theatre, who helped launch improv in North County is returning to the Brooks Theater on June 15 with a fun, talented cast of improvisers to help Oceanside Theatre Company celebrate becoming North County’s home for improv comedy. American Improv Theatre was founded by Jeff Ringgold who has over three decades of experience with improv and acting after being trained and mentored by comedy legends such as Jonathon Winters and Del Close.
