The mobilization of thousands more troops to bolster the military campaign in Ukraine is rippling across Russia, as the military swiftly drafts new recruits and signs of discontent appear to spread.

Every Ocean Hughes (EOH), f.k.a. Emily Roysdon (born 1977), is an transdisciplinary artist and writer. EOH’s recent projects take the form of performance, photographic installations, print making, text, video, and curating. EOH was editor and co-founder of the queer feminist journal and artist collective, LTTR. Her many collaborations include music with The Knife, Colin Self, and JD Samson & MEN; costume design for choreographers Levi Gonzalez, Vanessa Anspaugh, Faye Driscoll, and the band Le Tigre. Solo exhibitions include Studio Voltaire, London (2022); Moderna Museet, Stockholm (2022); Kunsthalle Lissabon, Lisbon (2017); Secession, Vienna (2015); PARTICIPANT INC, New York (2015); Art in General, New York (2011); and the Berkeley Art Museum (2010). EOH has received commissions for new work from Tate Modern, London (2012, 2017), the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam (2013–14); Portland Institute of Contemporary Art (2013–14); and the Kitchen, New York (2010). EOH’s work was featured in the 11th Gwangju Biennale, South Korea (2016); the Biennale of Sydney (2014); Future Generation Art Prize at the 55th Venice Biennale (2013); the Whitney Biennial 2010, New York; Manifesta 8, Murcia, Spain (2010); Greater NY, MoMA/PS1 (2010); and The Generational, New Museum (2009). Athletes will run past 100,000 cheering spectators. Runners, families and spectators can watch the remainder of the parade that features colorful floats, bands and huge inflatable characters. The PettyBreakers are the nation’s premier “Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers” tribute act. The band accurately recreates the sights, sounds and concert experience of a Tom Petty concert with all the classics… "American Girl"…"Break Down"… "Free Fallin’"… "Mary Jane’s Last Dance"…"Refugee"… "Runnin’ Down a Dream." Playing to packed houses all over the U.S., the band is comprised of excellent musicians who have performed and recorded with international artists and recorded with bands like The Rembrandts and The Gin Blossoms. The PettyBreakers were chosen to perform on AXS TV’s “The World’s Greatest Tribute Bands,” honoring the music of this legendary American icon.
