From December 13-17 and December 20-23 from 5-9 p.m. nightly, the winery village is open late, lit up with twinkling lights and holiday magic. Listen to the Carolers strolling through the winery village while you sip hot mulled wine and visit the artisan Shopping village of local arts and crafts vendors for last minute shopping. The Tasting room will be open, The Kitchen Restaurant will have grab and go Italian food and Manzanita Coffee House and the winery village shops will be open late for your holiday dining, sipping and shopping. The Escondido Arts Partnership presents “Wood, A Furniture Show XIV," an exhibition of hand handcrafted furniture in a variety of wood mediums and techniques including innovative contemporary, traditional and whimsical art furniture, as well as detailed veneering and marquetry works created by Southern California woodworkers. This exhibition is presented in association with the San Diego Fine Woodworking Association. On Display: Jan. 13 – Feb. 23, 2024 Exhibitions are always free and open to the public. The opening reception on Saturday, January 13 provides an opportunity for the public to meet the featured woodworking artists from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Awards for outstanding workmanship will be announced at 6:30 p.m. The Escondido Arts Partnership is located at 262 E. Design and create your own fabric through a block printing technique, and use this fabric to build a one-of-a-kind tote bag. In this workshop you will carve into linoleum blocks to create your own stamp. You will then use this stamp to print directly onto fabric creating a unique printed textile. Finally, you will learn to sew your own tote bag using this fabric. Students will have a small period of time for a snack/lunch break while their prints dry, so please feel free to bring something to eat and drink outside, if you’d like.
