  • An evening filled with music, dancing, spirited bidding and powerful stories of lives transformed awaits guests at the 2026 Solutions for Change Boots & Bling Gala on Saturday, Sept. 19, beginning at 5 p.m. at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido. Guests are invited to embrace the Boots & Bling spirit and enjoy a lively night that combines celebration with meaningful community impact. The gala will feature a delicious plated dinner, live music, line dancing and exclusive silent and live auctions offering guests opportunities to bid on memorable items and experiences. Throughout the evening, guests will also hear directly from families whose lives have been transformed through Solutions for Change and receive an inside look at the organization’s plans for expanding its impact. The program will celebrate the courage and accomplishments of parents working to permanently overcome homelessness, rebuild their lives and create brighter futures for their children. “Boots & Bling brings together everything that makes our community special: generosity, connection, celebration and a shared belief in the potential of every family,” said Aaron Byzak, Chief Executive Officer of Solutions for Change. “Guests will enjoy a memorable evening while also helping parents gain the skills, stability and opportunities they need to transform their lives for good.” From the first notes of live music to the final rounds of bidding, every part of the evening will help advance Solutions for Change’s mission to “crush the churn” of homelessness and dependency. Proceeds will directly support programs that equip parents to overcome drug and alcohol addiction, the root causes of homelessness, and build lasting independence. Solutions for Change takes a comprehensive, results-driven approach that extends far beyond providing temporary housing. Through its signature Solutions Academy, parents participate in an intensive 700-day vocational and personal-development program that combines career pathways, work experience, leadership training, financial literacy, family management skills, sobriety, peer support and accountability. The organization has supported more than 1,500 parents and 3,200 children by equipping families with the skills, knowledge and resources needed to break cycles of homelessness, poverty and dependency. “Guests will see that this is not simply a fundraising event,” Byzak said. “It is a celebration of what becomes possible when families are surrounded by opportunity, accountability and a community that believes in them. The stories shared that evening will remind all of us that lasting transformation is possible.” Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are now available.
