  • Learn to Knit this Season! Saturday, June 13, 3-5 p.m. or Friday, June 26, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Come learn the basics to get knitting! We will cover cast on, knit stitch, cast off, and minor problem-solving in this beginner basics class. In this 2-hour class, you will learn to knit a square that can be a washcloth, or turn it into a plush bunny! All materials are provided. However, if you’re interested in bringing your own needles, we recommend Size 10 (6mm) knitting needles. If bringing yarn, natural fibers in DK or bulky weight work well. And if you’re planning to make your square into a washcloth, cotton yarn works best. Instructor Leslie Valantine will have a fun selection of her own dyed yarns available for purchase at class. Ages 7+years with an adult, or 12+years welcome! All materials are included. • Military, first responders and sibling discounts • Scholarships available • Homeschool funds accepted • If this class is full, join the Interest List to be notified. • If you would like to be notified of future offerings, join the Interest List to be notified when new dates or spaces are available.
