  • Grab your sturdy boots, sunscreen and a hat! 🌞 We have another awesome event partnering with our friends over at San Diego Canyonlands! With two restoration sites actively maintained, join HandsOn and Canyonlands in keeping the sites clean to better help the landscape and wildlife. Home to milkweed and other native plants, Olivia Canyon is a popular trail that is frequently used. Canyonlands wants to make sure the trails are clear and that the native plants are safe from potential fire. Your work will also assure that the plants present in the canyon will continue to thrive and be resilient in the face of the ever-present danger of climate change. Volunteers will be removing brush and invasive plants.   • The Super Dentists are excited to announce their participation in the Halloween Candy Buy-Back program for the 19th year, helping kids turn candy into cash. Starting the morning after Halloween, kids can bring in candy to any of The Super Dentist’s six local offices and exchange it for cash. Through this program, kids receive $1 for each pound of candy they bring in; cash paid Nov. 1-8 only. The sale will take place at the Bancroft Ranch House Museum, located at the end of Memory Lane, just south of Hwy 94, off the Bancroft Dr. exit.
