"The Tiny Exhibition" is a unique, one-day public art event at Liberty Station Arts Districts' First Fridays on June 5, 2026. This event presents a powerful collaboration between contemporary artist Lisa Bryson, Tiny Home Central, Piccola Tiny Homes and the non-profit The Warrior Village Project. Featuring a collection of meticulously crafted oil paintings, many are of a jewel-like size, on display inside a Piccola Tiny Home as art gallery organized by Tiny Home Central. A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Warrior Village Projects’ tiny home build program. The exhibition explores themes of scale, luxury, and sustainability, challenging the notion that size dictates value—in both art and living spaces. Based on a true story, the performer everyone wanted to see “live” in 1940s New York was Florence Foster Jenkins, an enthusiastic soprano whose pitch was far from perfect. Known as “the first lady of the sliding scale,” she warbled and screeched her way through the evening to an audience who mostly fell about with laughter. But this delusional and joyously happy woman paid little attention to her critics. Instead, she was surrounded by a circle of devoted friends who were almost as eccentric as she was.
