He is the true renaissance man, born in Philadelphia, and has been recording and performing since the age of fourteen, with 37 album releases and television and film credits to his name. James Lee is an outspoken proponent of good music, good government, and generally good behavior toward our fellow earthlings.   • Make Tiny Ceramics! Sunday, May 18, 2 p.m. - 4p.m. -or- Saturday, June 21, 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. Join us in the land of miniatures. You will learn how and get to create tiny pottery on a mini pottery wheel. No previous pottery experience necessary! In this 2-hour class, you will learn to create 1-3 tiny pots and can add some color if you would like to. You will learn how to center the clay and open it up to form tiny pots, bowls, or plates. This class is a great way to learn the basics of a wheel on a small scale. It is less intimidating and is an accessible way to throw and center clay. Grab a friend or family member who’s been curious about ceramics and come join me in creating tiny pottery! No experience necessary. Ages 12+ welcome!   • Madison Gallery in Solana Beach will present "Four Seasons Interrupted" by internationally acclaimed Bosnian artist Radenko Milak, on view October 15 through December 15, 2025. Known for representing Bosnia and Herzegovina at the 57th Venice Biennale, Milak debuts a striking new series of 12–14 large-scale watercolors exploring climate disruption and the disappearance of seasonal rhythms. Set against the backdrop of New York City, these meticulously rendered works blur the line between painting and photography, creating a dreamlike tension between time, memory, and nature. "All these works move between fiction and reality. They resemble something familiar, scenes we seem to recognize, yet they do not truly exist. The entire series is conceived as a gap between what is real and what is imagined... a rupture where a new perception emerges," says Milak.   • A Museum on Wheels: The Office of Collecting & Design Hits the Road! The Office of Collecting & Design, an enchanting museum of lost and forgotten objects, is taking its beloved collection on tour! Known as a "nostalgia machine," this interactive traveling museum invites visitors to step inside a 42-foot wonderland of drawers, boxes, and cabinets filled with carefully curated curiosities. Guests can explore the space at their own pace or engage in hands-on experiences like a scavenger hunt or a flatlay photography session. Each stop on the tour features collaborations with local artists and creative spaces, ensuring a fresh and immersive experience in every city. The journey kicks off in San Diego with a special partnership between the Office and ArtReach San Diego. From April 17–19, the mobile museum will be open outside ArtReach’s Hillcrest studio, welcoming guests (adults only) during the nonprofit’s daily hours. Visitors can also enjoy Mini Visits during ArtReach’s 21+ Art Party on April 18 (tickets to the Art Party required), while families and young artists can participate in a specially designed workshop inside ArtReach’s studio on Saturday, April 19.
