Andrés Barraza
News InternAndrés Barraza was a newsroom intern covering general assignment stories. He helped produce local news reports for KPBS radio and contributes to KPBS.org. He is interested in political, environmental, and border issues. He recently graduated from the University of San Diego with a B.A. in communication studies. Originally from Southern Arizona, Andrés lived in Sonora, Mexico before moving to San Diego in 2003. Andrés plans on pursuing a career in public radio and is an avid listener of NPR’s “This American Life.”
