A team of 15 National Guard soldiers wearing 40-pound packs on their backs marched in the Boston Marathon to honor service members who lost their lives to suicide or combat. When two bombs went off after they finished their race, "Tough Ruck" team members used their military training to aid the injured.

Carlos Arredondo was at the Boston Marathon finish line Monday to support the National Guard member who was running in honor of his son, a Camp Pendleton Marine who died in the Iraq War. After the blasts, Arredondo sprang into action to help the injured.

Former Navy SEAL Chris Kyle, who authored the bestselling memoir "American Sniper," was shot to death at a Texas shooting range Saturday along with another man. The suspected shooter is a former Marine who was reportedly suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.
