SAN DIEGO — A new poll out today puts Democratic Congressman Bob Filner ahead of Republican City Councilman Carl DeMaio in the San Diego Mayor’s race.

A new poll out today puts Democratic Congressman Bob Filner ahead of Republican City Councilman Carl DeMaio in the San Diego Mayor’s race.
The SurveyUSA poll commissioned by KPBS media partner 10News shows Filner with a six-point lead over DeMaio. Of the 553 people polled, 47 percent said they’d vote for Filner, while 41 percent said they’d vote for DeMaio.
Twelve percent said they’re undecided.
The poll found Filner made significant gains among men and seniors, while DeMaio has made progress with Hispanic voters. So far, Filner has the majority of support from those who voted for either District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis or state Assemblyman Nathan Fletcher in the primary.

P L E A S E let the trend continue.
I can't evn put into words how dismal a Mayor DeMaio would be for our community.
