Airs Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 11 a.m. on KPBS TV

"We Own The Years Ahead" features Nicholas Boothman, an award-winning author, inspirational speaker and leading expert in face-to-face communication, in an emotional call to action for adults to take control of their years ahead by actively connecting with people.

In the process they will become more vibrant, their values will matter, and they will count as a respected balancing force in a society that increasingly knows the price of everything and the value of nothing.

Boothman will bring his message of the benefits of connecting with others as well as share practical tactics of how to connect. It is a stressful time in our lives as we transition to our second “acts” and the time is right to take action and make positive changes in your life.
