Report: Second SDPD Officer Accused Of Sexual Assaulting Women On Duty

KPBS media partner 10News has confirmed another San Diego police officer is accused of sexually assaulting women while on duty.

Sources told 10News SDPD Officer Chris Hays is on paid administrative leave and the case against him has been given to the San Diego County District Attorney's Office.

Team 10 learned Hays, 30, is accused of sexually assaulting four women while on duty.

Sources also told 10News there were red flags about Hays before he was hired by the police department. The sources would not elaborate, however.

Former San Diego officer Anthony Arevalos was convicted in 2011 of preying on women while on duty.
